"BRINGING THE WARMTH TO A COLD PLACE"
Photography / Editorial Shoot
The Brief:
Haight clothing is a Brazilian Swimsuit brand, based in Rio. Helena the photographer who comes from Brazil received a brief to do a campaign for the brand in London. The brand asked to show in the project what we can see when we bring the warmth of brazil to a cold place like in London.
Helena came to me and Victoria and explained us the project and we brainstormed it together. Our idea was to do to different shoots, one in a photography studio where we will build a sculpture that reflects the shapes of the body and ocean waves. An other shoot in Bermondsey beach in London, in a playful and happy atmosphere to show how we can turn a cold place like london to a warm one.

Element for Set Design / Sketches
This set was made especially for the second day shoot in the photography studio at CSM. Helena and I had this idea together to create this set and represent waves. It took us a week to do it because we made it from scratch but had a lot of fun at the same time.
We wanted to create an umbrella for shoot in Bermondsey beach but revisited by adding fabric fringes to remind the brezilian style

Reflection:
This project was made in October and I really enjoyed it because we were a great team and especially great friends we haven't seen each other since the pandemic, it was the perfect project to start the year and boost each others creativity. It was very stimulating because we were working for a big Brazilian swimwear brand and we had total freedom for the creativity. We had a lot of fun working out our ideas together and building the set and casing the models. I can only say good things about this project, during the shoot days each of us had a role and we worked very efficiently, we respected each other's time and these two days were a real success and we received great feedback from the director of the brand. This project made Helena, Victoria and I want to work together again during the year.
